The story behind the arch.
We started with one hive in the backyard. Two summers later there were five, the kitchen filled up with mason jars, and a friend down the road offered us a freezer of clean tallow she didn't know what to do with.
The name came later. It's from a line in the Lord's Prayer that always landed a little differently than the rest of it. We kept it because it set the bar exactly where we wanted: make a thing honest enough to need no apology.
That's the work. Honey kept whole. Beeswax hand-poured. Tallow rendered slow. All of it from people we know by name.
