Whipped Tallow Balm

Single-source grass-fed tallow from a rancher ten miles up the road. We render it slow, six hours at a low simmer, until it's the color of cream. Then we whip it with a splash of olive oil. Two ingredients, that's it. We use this on the kids' cheeks all winter and on our own hands every night after dishes.
